On September 3rd, Global Digital Innovation Network hosted a pivotal briefing on the ‘Korean Valley in Brazil Initiative, aimed at bridging innovation and partnerships between Korea and Brazil.

We were thrilled to have Aleksandro Montanha, CEO of Brazilian consulting firm Allk - All Knowledges Company, and GDIN’s Ambassador in Brazil. Mr. Montanha provided a comprehensive overview of the Brazilian market and shared valuable insights into the Korean Valley project. He highlighted how this initiative will be instrumental for Korean tech companies in navigating the unique challenges of the Brazilian business environment and boosting their competitive edge. As he noted, "Paraná offers significant market potential in agratech, renewable energy, and automotive sectors."
Mr. Montanha emphasized the importance of forming strategic partnerships, such as joint ventures with local companies, to successfully enter the Brazilian market. The Korean Valley project is designed to offer various services to support Korean companies in establishing a strong local presence.

Our CEO, JongKap Kim, reflected on our journey since signing a memorandum of understanding with the Paraná government last year. This agreement aims to enhance cooperation between Korean and Brazilian companies and facilitate Korean companies' entry into the Brazilian market. Mr. Kim stated, “The Korean Valley is designed to create a sustainable cooperative relationship between our companies and support our joint expansion into the global market.”

He also added, “The Korean Valley project represents a win-win opportunity, leveraging the strengths of both Brazil and Korea. It will serve as a crucial springboard for companies looking to expand into the global market.”
